WELCOME AU BORD DE L’EAU
… as in the times of Sunny Megève
At an altitude of 1,113 m/3,650 feet, Megève lives the seasons, the time of flowers and butterflies, that of blueberries and the gold of the forests, as well as that of snow and lights.
Originally created as a family home in 1952–53, Megève l'Ensoleillée is today a private 75 sqm residence for two — a place where the spirit of 1950s Megève meets contemporary comfort, colour and wellbeing.
More than a place to stay, it is a family story to step into — and, for a season or longer, a rare way of making Megève feel like home.
GOING BACK IN TIME... RE-LIGHTING MEGEVE
Built in 1952–53 by Daniel's grandfather, Louis Chaponneau, Chalet « Au bord de l'Eau » belongs to a family story deeply rooted in Megève.
Decades later, Daniel Siegel and Laurence Costa returned to the family home with a desire not to recreate the past, but to let its spirit live again.
A deeply personal interpretation of Megève l'Ensoleillée — and the freedom of having your own address in Megève.
THE STORY OF A RENOVATION
50'S, FENG SHUI & POLYCHROMY
Feng Shui became an invisible thread throughout the renovation — not as a decorative statement, but as a way of thinking about balance, circulation and the sense of wellbeing a room can quietly create.
THE MOUTAIN IN MAJESTY
Colours— mustard yellow, red, blue and green — also evoke the 1950s and the polychromy so characteristic of Henry Jacques Le Même's work.
The monumental mountain unfolds across two canvases by Stella Cadente — sepia in the living room, golden brown in the bedroom. And perched on a branch of the woodland wallpaper opposite the freestanding bath is an unexpected family character: a squirrel, found by Daniel's father many years ago and preserved ever since.
The privacy of a home. The spirit of a hotel suite. The freedom of having your own address in Megève.
A FESTIVE APERITIF... IN THE HEART OF MEGEVE

Entirely non smoking - pets not allowed.
